Aujourd'hui, je vais vous parler de Tinker Hatfield, un des plus grand (si ce n'est le plus grand) designer de "Sneakers". J'aurais pu également vous parler de Eric Avar, Peter Moore, Nate Van Hook, Dylan Raasch, Nigo, Hiroshi Fujiwara etc... J'en passe et des meilleurs, mais je tiens à vous parler de "Tinker" car il a marquer l'histoire au fer rouge, dans le sens ou il a tout simplement dessiner les modèles les plus légendaire dont la plupart ce portent encore plus de nos jours que à l'époque. Tinker Hatfield est née le 30 avril 1952 ( a 8h37 du matin.. Nann je déconne...) à Hillsboro dans l'Oregon. Oregon où il a grandi à Halsey dans le comté de Linn, il vie actuellement à Portland toujours dans l'Oregon. Fils de Tinker Hatfield Sr, grande figure du coaching dans l'Oregon, Tinker étais lui même un grand athlète au lycée, dans diverses sports, il a même étais élu athlète de l'année pour l'Oregon high schoolers. Après le lycée il étudie et passe un diplôme d'architecture à "University of Oregon School of Architecture".
Il rejoint Nike en 1981 et commence a travailler sur la conception des chaussures en 1985, ils se rendent vite compte que c'est compétence en architecture son un atout. Il commence d'abord par la cross-trainer la "trainer" en s'inspirant des divers chaussures lier à chaque sport, c'est donc un mix une multi-sport; Puis en 1987 il créer la "Air max one" chaussure inspirer du centre George Pompidou lors d'un voyage à Paris c'est effectivement grace a ces grand tube transparent que Tinker créer la première paire a bulle d'air apparente. En 1989 il dessine la "Nike air Mag" pour le film "Retour vers le futur II" cette paire est devenu légendaire, n'importe quelle collectionneur la voudrais dans sa collections mais pour sa il vous faudra d'abord la trouver puis en suite déboursé autour des 7600$ sachant que le laçage automatique du film n'est qu'un scratch mais il faut absolument savoir que le Nike air Mag est de nouveau annoncer pour cette année 2015 et cette dernière avec le vrai laçage automatique le "power laces" ( la release date n'est pas encore annoncer). Cela ouvrira t'il la porte a une nouvelle génération de chaussures? tinker première bulle d'air! Tinker premier laçage automatique?!
Non sa ne se limite pas à ça! Tinker a Dessiner la plupart des Air Jordan dont la III, la IV, la VI, la VIII, la XX etc etc etc etc... et j'en oublie, en 1991 il a créé la Huarache que tout la nouvelle générations porte aujourd'hui sans même le savoir pour la plupart! il est aussi le père de la nike air tech challenge 1, 2 etc... avec la légende du tennis Mr André Agassi.
Voilà pour les grandes lignes de Mr Tinker Hatfield maintenant âgé de 62 ans bientôt 63, toujours actif, en pleine forme et vice Président des Projet spéciaux chez Nike. Ont a pas finit Tinker! Merci.
